The oldest public pool in the city, Victoria Park Swimming Pool, opened on 16 October 1957 and was unveiled by Governor Grantham. This destination public pool is a huge hit with families, with the outdoor kids pool offering a plethora of fun water installations including mushrooms and tree-shaped fountains and four waterslides. The main pool is perfect for laps and a separate toddler pool makes it safe for beginners to splash around. And when it’s time to relax, you can kick back at the poolside bar and enjoy a refreshing drink.

At the top of the W Hong Kong, you’ll find an outdoor pool with a breathtaking view of the city and the harbour. Called Wet, the pool is 211 metres above sea level and has a special Fit Gym on its rooftop to help you work up a sweat. Non-hotel guests can purchase a day pass to access the pool.

In this gorgeous public pool, you can swim and sunbathe while taking in the iconic view of Hong Kong Island. The rooftop also offers a whirlpool with both hot and cold water as well as underwater speakers so you can listen to your favorite tunes while swimming in the chilly water. If you’re not in the mood for a whirlpool, simply lounge on a sunbed to soak up the rays and enjoy some peace and quiet with your loved ones.
